The Shangri-Las Vegas Sensory Experience
Your home is your healing place. We don’t all have the luxury of working in the space we choose or even living in the town we choose. Your home, on the other hand, is your domain and your choice. If you think of your computer, it goes into screen saver mode so it can rest, and so do we! We have to reboot from the day to heal, transform, expand and grow!
Brad and I understand how busy life is. We understand that most people run in from work at the end of a busy day and barely have time to take a breath before family time consumes more energy.
Brad and I have a strong sense of family center. Our mission with Shangri-Las Vegas is to bring fantasy and emotional rescue to elevate the home living experience for all who choose it with ease and effortlessness. The value to your psyche, when you have a transformative experience in living, is exactly that for your mindset!
We created Shangri-Las Vegas in a fairly short time. Our home is our showplace. When we decide on something, we do it. Each of our parents passed away fairly young and our credo is ‘why wait’? It doesn’t make sense to put off ‘happy’. We met and were engaged in three months in keeping with the same philosophy.
What is so unique about Shangri-Las Vegas is that it engages all of your senses. Upon entering the Estate, you smell drifting sage, incense and exotic oils. Simple elements delight your eyes like floating candles dancing among rose petals in glistening copper water troughs. Your spirit is elevated by ritualistic elements as your skin tingles from the delicate breeze. Lighted crystals, Buddhas, and warm wood furnishings offer unexpected surprises at every turn.
We put our dining room in our foyer! If that sounds strange, that’s because it is! It’s the most wonderful surprise of all and doing so opened up our formal dining room as a lounge….another fun surprise in our home. My southern roots are sewn deep. As they say, once a Texan, always a Texan! The bigness of that state-of-mind follows you everywhere, and has followed me into my home. It shaped my ‘can do’ mentality along with the ‘all things are possible’ attitude. Brad loves that about me! He’s more conservative so the blend is nice.
Message from Kimberly Friedmutter about Shangri-Las Vegas
Why invest in your home? Your home is the nest and nucleus of your family experience. You want your guests and family to feel better, do better, be better which achieved by surrounding them with ‘high intentional product’.
When you honor your surroundings, you honor the life within. Your life begins and ends at home which is the strongest representation of who you are or aspire to be.
Have you heard the saying, “Home is Where the Heart Us?” Well I believe your home is your heart and the heart center of the family. Your home extends beyond the cozy fireplace and enhances your perception of the world.
From an urban apartment to a country estate and everywhere in between, you can create a life full of experience that is a reflection of your own heart and soul; and guess what? These fine pieces become part of your energy and move with you, throughout your journey!
